The Balanced Man Scholarships
Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, the nation's largest college fraternity, is offering multiple Balanced Man Scholarships totaling over $12,000 to outstanding freshmen males attending one of five schools in Ohio next year.
Scholarships will be awarded to incoming male students who embody the principles of the Balanced Man, a focus on the ideals of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body, where academics and physical health work hand-in-hand to enhance an individual's development.

B. Davis Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is offered through the generosity of our site sponsors and is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1,000 words on this topic:
"Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss whether you believe you possess qualities, and describe an experience where you developed and/or demonstrated some or all of these traits."

The Trumbull County
Farm Bureau Scholarship
The Trumbull County Farm Bureau is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students who are currently attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school. Applicant's immediate family must be current Farm Bureau members and a resident
of Trumbull County.

National Academy for Nuclear Training Scholarship Educational Assistance Program
Students must major in nuclear, mechanical, or electrical engineering, power-generation health physics, or chemical engineering with a nuclear or power option. Approximately 120 $2,500 scholarships are awarded to students with excellent academic reports and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

AES Engineering Services
Scholarships for 2010
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to future students across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
Students must submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words in answer to one of the two questions below:
"If you had the authority to change your school in a
positive way, what specific changes would you make?"
or
"How has your family background affected
the way you see the world?"
There is no application packet for this award. Essays should be submitted to scholarships@aesengineers.com. Please include your full name as well as the name of the school you are attending in 2010/11 and your plans for 2011/12.
Application deadline is October 8, 2010.
