The Norman D. Kepner Chapter of the Howland National Honor Society
strives to enhance student development through scholarship, leadership,
service and character. We encourage a high standard of education and professional moral standing by taking initiative to promote positive change through selfless service to our school and community. Through our commitment to exceed these expectations, each individual will serve as a pillar to the advancement of the chapter's legacy.

Attention Current Juniors:


The minimum GPA requirement for consideration into NHS is a 3.4 cumulative GPA. This must be attained by the 5th semester. Letters will be distributed to those eligible in late February or early March to begin the selection process.

Attention Incoming Freshmen:

If you wish to be inducted into National Honor Society, you must:

* Have earned a 3.4 GPA by your 5th semester
*Have documented 40 hours of volunteer service
*Have earned eight activity points
*Have evidence of strong character throughout your high school career
