Dress Code
Selection of school dress is a parental responsibility and it is required that parents be discreet in selecting school clothes. Extremely distracting types of clothing disrupt the educational process and will not be tolerated.
- Students may wear knee area length shorts, skorts, skirts, and dresses all year.
- Slits in skirts, etc., may not be any higher than the knee area.
- No extreme hairstyles or colors are permitted.
- Wearing pierced jewelry on any body part other than the ear is prohibited.
- Students may wear sleeveless tops that cover shoulders from the neck to the arm.
- Bare midriffs will not be permitted.
- Pajamas/sleepwear (tops and/or bottoms) are not to be worn.
- Facial hair must be well groomed. No extreme colors or styles are permitted.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn. Beach sandals are not permitted.
- Outerwear (coats) may not be worn during the school day.
- Extracurricular activity uniforms may be worn during the school day if apparel does not violate established dress guidelines.
