Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Howland Local School District is proud to announce that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Ohio Department of Education (ODE) have extended the Seamless Summer Option, which provides free breakfast and lunch to all students in our school district.   The program is effective September 9, 2020 and will run until December 31, 2020.

Students who are in the hybrid model will be able to eat breakfast and lunch for free on the days they are present at school.  For the days they are not in the building, students will be able to receive three breakfasts and three lunches.  The meals will be sent home with students on Monday or Tuesday each week.  You must complete the 2020-2021 Food Service Request Form that is available at www.howlandschools.com under the food service tab.  The completed form can be returned to the main office at your child’s school or the Food Service Supervisor at the Administration Office

Remote learning students can pick up five breakfasts and five lunches every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pickup is located at the high school “U” parking lot.   To be eligible for the Tiger Take Home Food, you must complete the 2020-2021 Food Service Request Form that is available at www.howlandschools.com under the food service tab.  The completed form can be returned to the main office at your child’s school or the Food Service Supervisor at the Administration Office

Beginning January 1, 2021, students will be charged according to the National School Lunch Program Free/Reduced pricing.  If you have any further questions you can contact Justin Pancake at 330-856-8211.
