The respiratory therapy department at Bon Secour Mercy Health recently made a donation to the district's Paw Pantry. In a letter to the district, the respiratory therapists expressed their gratitude for the community support they've received during the pandemic and said they felt motivated to give back, too.
"With this Covid world remaining and lingering into the school year, we want to show our support. We as a department have taken up collections for a few schools in our area. When we discovered you had a “Paw Pantry”, we felt this was an opportunity to give back to our community. We hope that the donation of nonperishable items will help your district to maintain this amazing effort you have created. In this time, we also want to offer our love and support as you become “frontline heroes”. Thank you for what you do!
