Howland High School has been named the best high school in Trumbull County, according to a new report.

U.S. News & World Report shows that Howland High School is ranked number one in terms of best high schools in the county, and 199th out of more than 870 schools in Ohio.

“We are excited for our students and staff to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report with this distinction.  We are very proud of our students who have challenged themselves and taken advantage of our recently expanded AP Course offerings.  Our course offerings include AP choices across all content areas including math, science, social studies, English, art, and music.  These courses provide our students with a vast amount of opportunities for advanced placement in their particular areas of interest,” said Howland High School principal Joseph Simko.
