Howland Local Schools

Some Howland Local Schools families may have noticed a different school bus picking up their children this week. That’s because the district recently purchased new buses. The district was able to save approximately $25,000 per school Thomas bus by buying them off-lease.  Each bus came with approximately 25,000 miles and a full warranty. The district was able to replace six of its older buses with the new Thomas buses. The oldest bus to be removed from the fleet had been on the road since 2007 and had logged over 200,000 miles.
