Dear Parents and Students,
I hope you have had a fantastic summer break and are eager to start the 2022-2023 school year. I know that I am excited to begin another year as your first and second grade principal!
I love working with first and second grade students! The smiles, hugs, drawings, and stories I receive from my students make my role incredibly rewarding. My world seems to revolve around primary and elementary-age students in one way or another. My wife, Gina, is a first grade teacher at West Boulevard Elementary School in Boardman, and we have three children that are primary or elementary age. Our oldest, Mason, will be in fifth grade this year. Our middle child, Kinslee, is starting third grade, and our youngest, Preston, will be in first.
Over the past sixteen years of my career, I’ve learned a lot about education and even more about what students need to thrive and learn. I am fortunate to work with a fantastic team of educators and support staff that put students first. Our team truly cares about creating a safe and secure learning environment while ensuring academic experiences for students that are rigorous, relevant, and form real-world connections.
I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to being “ALL ONE” and caring for your children each and every day.
