Tiger Families and Fans,

Help us celebrate our Mercy Health – Health, Safety and Wellness Night at the football game on Friday, October 21, 2022, as we feature organizations that support the needs of our kids and community!

Outside the main gate, help us “Fill the Boot” as the Howland Fire Department will be collecting for “Live Like Lindsay.” This organization provides coats for kids in need. The “Live Like Lindsey” campaign continues the legacy of Howland resident Lindsey Villanueva through the work of her husband Tony, their children, and volunteers.

Inside the gate, the legacy of Howland alum and teacher Gina Vacha is celebrated with the Gina Vacha Paw Pantry.  The Gina Vacha Paw Pantry helps provide clothing, person hygiene items, school supplies and food to children in need at Howland Schools. Help us fill the box truck with clothes, food, or personal hygiene supplies! See attachment for more information.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at https://howlandtigers.org/partner/28/event/305/buy-tickets with an option to donate.

If you can not make the game, you can still donate to both these causes!

To donate to the Gina Vacha Paw Pantry, please visit, https://howlandtigers.org/partner/28/event/312/buy-tickets or drop off your items at Howland High School through October 28 at the Activities Office or contact paw.pantry@howalndschools.org to arrange a drop off.

To donate to “Live Like Lindsey” checks can be mailed to PO Box 8603, Warren, OH 44484.

Thank you in advance for your support of kids and families in need! In the spirit of the Gina Vacha Paw Pantry motto, “No Tiger should go hungry.”
