While at Youngstown State University, Kondolios will attend the Dana School of Music to major in composition. Percussionist and singer Christian Darrin will spend the next year traveling the country as a volunteer with the vocal group "Re-Creation", which performs for hospitalized veterans. After the tour, Darrin plans to attend Cleveland State University to major in music therapy, and flautist Elly Eucker plans to attend Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music to major in music education.

“At Howland High School, we encourage students to pursue careers in music.  I am very pleased to see so many seniors from the band program continuing their music education at the collegiate level.  I am confident that these talented young men and women will be very successful with their future musical endeavours and will be positive forces driving the music profession forward,” said Howland High School Band Director Greg Rezabek.
