Transportation Procedures and Expectations

  • Masks are mandated on school buses, regardless of vaccination status. Passengers and drivers must wear a mask on school buses operated by public and private school systems, subject to the exclusions and exemptions in the CDC’S order. Click here to review a video about the requirements.

  • Transportation information including pick up and drop off times will be available on the district’s website by Monday, August 30, 2021.

Indoor Procedures & Expectations

  • Based on the results from the district’s recent mask survey, the Howland Board of Education has determined the use of a facial covering or mask will remain optional for students, staff and visitors.

  • Maintain a social distance of three feet whenever possible.

Please note, if you wish to send your child to school without a mask, there may be instances when they are ordered to quarantine by the Trumbull County Combined Health District due to their exposure to a medically-diagnosed case of COVID-19.
