Howland Glen hosted Literacy Night on March 19 with this year’s theme, “Candy Land: Where Reading is Sweet.”
The event brought in 160+ students and over 575 total attendees including families.
In early grades, reading skills grow quickly, from basic sounds to full sentences. Literacy Night helps parents support that transition with simple, fun strategies they can use at home.
Families enjoyed hands-on literacy games, guest readers, snacks, prize drawings and free books.
