Howland High School is pleased to announce April Phillips as its Community Partner of the Month. This recognition is given to individuals who make significant contributions to the school community and demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting its staff.
April and her husband moved their family to Warren from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2017 in search of a good school system for their oldest child who has special needs. Shortly after entering school, he began thriving, which allowed her to pursue her dream job of being an advanced manicurist. She received her license and started working within Jeannie's Salon and Spa in October 2022.
Through the community partnership, April has generously donated several $25 gift certificates to her business for our student's of the month, who can redeem them for a free regular manicure or almost half off a new set of extensions.
