In a show of support for School Resource Officer Stephanie Slusher, Howland High School hosted “Slushies with Slusher” Day on Friday, September 27, 2024. The event was held in honor of School Safety Month, which is celebrate in October and highlights the importance of promoting safety within schools.
High school students made slushies between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria for students to enjoy with Officer Slusher. The event was a surprise!
“Officer Slusher is not just our school resource officer; she’s a mentor, a friend, and a source of positivity for all of us,” said Howland High School Principal Joseph Simko. “We wanted to show her how much she means to us!”
