Howland High School has once again earned the Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
This award is given to schools that show significant improvement in both student growth and achievement. To qualify, the school met two key benchmarks during the 2024–2025 school year:
Improved its Performance Index by 3 or more points
Earned a Value-Added rating of 4 stars or higher
The recognition reflects the consistent effort and teamwork of staff and students across the building.
