Howland High School senior Sapphire Lin has been named a 2027 National Merit Commended Student as part of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The program has recognized approximately 34,000 students nationwide for their strong academic performance. Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise based on their performance on the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
