Vlahos Original Greek Gyros is the latest business to join Howland High School’s Community Partnership Program. Vlahos Original Greek Gyros is a family owned business since 1976 introducing the Greek Gyro to the Warren area. John and Alexandra Vlahos and family have continued to provide the traditional greek staple food to Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Through the partnership, the owners of Vlahos Original Greek Gyros will have the opportunity to connect with students in Howland High School’s Leadership and Community Engagement class, as well as with the high school’s student services specialist to learn more about the College Career Readiness Programs at the high school.

“As lifelong Howland residents, the Vlahos family values the importance of building community relationships and giving back to students and educators who continue to show resilience and perseverance through these unprecedented times. In collaboration with Howland High School, the Vlahos family would like to congratulate all the students and teachers who are being recognized for their academic and personal success throughout this school year and beyond,” said Eleanna Vlahos-Hall.

Vlahos Original Greek Gyros also made a generous donation to the high school, which will be used to help recognize the high school’s Students and Teachers of the Month.  You can visit them on Facebook page at Vlahos Greek Gyros for updates on their events and also visit their website at www.vlahosgyrotime.com for more information.
