Office Hours
The Junior High office will remain open through June 18, 2026. The office will be closed June 19 through August 10 and will reopen on August 11. Summer office hours are 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on days the office is open.
New Student Registration
All new student enrollment is completed online. Please visit http://www.howlandschools.com and use the Registration link.
First Day of School
The first day of school for all 7th and 8th grade students is Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
FinalForms Requirements
All incoming 7th and 8th grade students and their parents/guardians must complete and sign all required FinalForms documents for the 2026-2027 school year. Students will not receive a schedule or Chromebook until all forms have been completed.
Completion of FinalForms does not guarantee immediate schedule release. Please refer to the schedule distribution timeline below.
Schedule Distribution
Student schedules will be emailed during the week of August 24-28, 2026, once all FinalForms have been completed and signed by both the student and parent/guardian.
Please wait until August 31 before contacting the school regarding a missing schedule, provided all FinalForms requirements have been completed.
Required Immunizations for Incoming 7th Grade Students
Ohio Department of Health requirements include:
* Tdap Booster Vaccine
* Meningococcal Vaccine
Documentation must be provided to the Junior High nurse. All immunization records or exemption forms must be received by September 14, 2026. Exemption forms will be available through the clinic once school begins.
