For more than 20 years, Howland High School has proudly supported the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This inspirational video explores the history of that tradition and why this year was different.
The video highlights how students worked together to support families in need. It also features the powerful story of a student who once benefited from this generosity herself and, this season, chose to give back by spending $160 of her own money to brighten the holiday of a stranger facing similar challenges.
Though longer in length, this video is well worth watching and serves as a meaningful reminder of the impact kindness, empathy and community can have.
