Howland Springs Primary School welcomed kindergarten students and their families for Fall Family Literacy Night, an evening of hands-on activities focused on early literacy and learning.
Families rotated through interactive stations designed to help students practice important kindergarten skills. Activities included letter learning, music and movement, fine motor skill development, crafts and matching games.
Parents also had the opportunity to work with the school's Title reading teacher to practice foundational kindergarten skills with their children.
The evening included goody bags from the PTO, informational tables hosted by the Warren Public Library and the P.A.W. program, and light snacks for families.
The event gave families an opportunity to support their children's learning while strengthening the connection between home and school.
