The Howland Local School District proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of students from Howland Junior High and High School who were selected to represent the district as members of the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District 5 Honor Bands.
Chosen from hundreds of applicants across Mahoning, Trumbull and Ashtabula counties, these talented musicians showcased their dedication to musical excellence, representing Howland Schools as the “best of the best” among over 250 applicants for each group. The students rehearsed for nearly 18 hours over two weeks, leading up to their concert at Stambaugh Auditorium on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
