On Friday, January 30, the Howland Mock Trial Team competed at the Ohio Council for Law-Related Education district tournament held at the Warren Courthouse. The team earned wins against Lakeview and Austintown Fitch, advancing to the regional tournament later this month.
The case focused on the constitutionality of law enforcement accessing genetic databases to solve a 20-year-old cold case murder, challenging students to argue timely and complex constitutional issues.
