Band visits Studio B during Tennessee trip

The Howland band traveled to Tennessee and visited RCA Studio B in Nashville, where students participated in a recording session in a professional studio setting. Opened in 1957 and known as the “Home of 1,000 Hits,” Studio B played a key role in shaping the Nashville Sound and expanding the reach of country music. Artists including Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton recorded there. Today, the studio is preserved as part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and offers guided tours, giving students the opportunity to record in the same space where many well-known songs were produced!
