What are the requirements for kindergarten?
Incoming kindergarten students must be 5 on or before August 1, 2024.
Kindergarten registration is only open to Howland residents.
Only the custodial parent/guardian may enroll a child into school.

HC Mines families-
I hope everyone has had a relaxing and safe break. We are looking forward to seeing our students back in school tomorrow. We should be back on schedule for our planned activities and report cards will go home with students tomorrow afternoon. Cookie sales will resume and additional boxes are available.

I just wanted to remind you of a few dates coming up. This Friday is the end of our third quarter and a one hour Early Release Day. Report cards will go home on Thursday the 28th with our Spring Break starting on the 29th through April 2nd.
The deadline for the opt out forms for our Principal’s Fundraiser are due by 3/21/24. This is the only fundraiser I conduct for the 2 years your child is attending HC Mines. The funds raised goes to help pay for field trips, playground and recess equipment, assemblies, technology and so much more. Fortune cookies will go home on 3/21/24. Please consider helping this endeavor as every box counts.
