Rising property taxes aren’t just a local issue. They’re the result of state funding changes that shifted the burden onto communities like ours. Our new graphic breaks down school and community funding, what it means for our services, and how we can move forward together.

Reminder, today is the day to get your “Pick-up Tags” (Rearview Mirror Tags).
EVERYONE needs a set of Pick-up Tags, regardless of your transportation situation. Even if you only use your tag once the entire school year, it is the fastest and safest way to pick up your student.
We will distribute the pick-up tag kits at Howland Springs Primary School (9500 Howland Springs Rd. SE) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Simply come to Howland Springs Primary School with your photo ID to pick up your kit. You will receive two rearview mirror tags, a matching book bag tag for each of your children, and a zip tie to secure the student tag to your child’s book bag.
If you have more than one child registered in Preschool to 4th Grade, all of the Family Car Tags will be distributed together at Springs. If you have tags left over from last year, please discard both the student and mirror tags as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, regardless of your child’s building, please contact us at Howland Springs Primary 330-856-8280.
Sincerely,
Carl Clark, Principal
Howland Springs Primary School
