Good Evening HHS Families, This is Mr. Simko, Principal of High School. The purpose of the message is to share with you upcoming events this week. The month of October is Stomp Out Bullying Month and our student leadership groups are asking that all students wear the color blue on Monday and Tuesday in support of Worldwide Bullying Prevention Day! The theme of the week is to be a leader, emulate kindness, and make friends with someone you currently don’t know at school. A reminder to senior parents: This Wednesday evening is the first of many options for attending a virtual FAFSA educational night provided by Kent State. The information and zoom links were emailed to Senior Families a couple weeks ago. If you have any questions please contact our school counselors. Also, A reminder for all students and staff that Friday, October 9 is NEOEA day and there is no school. Finally, interim reports will be available by this Friday so please keep communicating with your teachers and doing your best to reach your full potential! Have a great evening and go tigers!

We are aware of Governor Dewine's announcement placing Trumbull County under a red designation. This designation DOES NOT change Howland Local School District's return plan under the hybrid model. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them, but as of now, this red designation DOES NOT impact our district's reopening plans. Thank you, Kevin Spicher Howland Local Schools, Superintendent
