Register your student this weekend and spread the word to family and friends!

Themed Days for the Read-A-Thon:
Monday: "We all LOVE to READ" - wear red
Tuesday: "Join the team & READ" - wear your favorite team's shirt/jersey
Wednesday: "Hat's off to READING" - wear your favorite hat
Thursday: "READING takes us places" - wear a shirt with a place on it - vacation location, amusement park, college, country, or state

Students in Mrs. Messina's ELA-5 classes were given a reading challenge & those who completed the challenge attended in a hot chocolate party. We are so proud of our 5th grade readers!!! They read 200 minutes or more so we can't wait to see how they do on our Read-A-Thon!

6th Grade Social Studies students worked on Pyramid Building this week.
Students worked in groups to construct a pyramid that was measured by height and how much weight it could hold.




Students in Mrs. Craigo's 6th grade science classes are learning about mineral identification today!




Recently, our 8th grade choir had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Cleveland Charge game!

Mrs. Scharba's classes celebrated Exciting ELA Day by working on Titanic challenges: decoding a reading passage, making an “odds of survival” bar chart, retrieving facts from a video & STEM activities using play-doh & aluminum foil to create a boat that will float.




Mrs. Shipman’s 7th grade ELA has been reading about sharecroppers in the south during the Great Depression. For Exciting ELA Day, students took turns planting & the goal is to add their flowers to the beds in the Science courtyard this spring!




Mrs. Price & Mrs. Mayhew's 8th Grade ELA class celebrated exciting ELA day today!


Students in Ms. VanGilder's full year Art 7 class began working with ceramic clay today!
