Students at Howland Springs Primary enjoyed time with their principal during our "Cookies with Clark" celebration. Each month our teachers select two students as their Students of the Month. The selection is based on being a great friend to others and having amazing character everyday. The children really had fun decorating their cookies with frosting and holiday colored sprinkles along with a cup of chocolate milk.

Happy Thanksgiving! Due to an overwhelming response to our Jingle Ball Dance on December 4th, we have decided to separate the event into two groups. Group One: (5:15 to 6:30) Mrs. Riley, Miss K, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Parise, Miss Deraway, Ms. Collins. Group Two: (6:45 to 8:00) Miss Burke, Mrs. Tisone, Mrs. Snyder, Miss Bell, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Madden. Also, if possible, please try to have everyone on your invitation ride together. There will be much more information to follow. We just wanted to give you advanced notice in regards to the time changes. Thanks again!!

Good Morning. Just a reminder that this Friday, November 1st, is the end of the first quarter. All students, including preschool, will be dismissed one hour earlier than their regular time. Also, on November 5th, there will be no school for students. Teachers, however, will attend professional development sessions designed to further improve our skills as educators.

Students and families at Howland Springs Primary gathered for an evening of fun and learning at our annual Family Literacy Night. Our teachers demonstrated some of the strategies they use to teach our children how to read and write. The students enjoyed various games connected to reading along with making a snack that they could share with their families.

Kindergarten and Preschool students at Howland Springs Primary enjoyed a fun morning with the Howland Fire Department and Zoo 2 Go. Howland Fire taught the children about fire safety and how they keep families safe. All of the students received a fire fighter helmet and a Fire Safety Coloring book. Zoo 2 Go brought in a variety of animals for the kids to see and pet. They enjoyed everything from a pony and alpacas to bunnies and goats.

We are excited for the return of our two school resource officers for the 2024-2025 school year!
