We are thrilled to announce that seniors Robin Hakimian and Theresa Cranston have been named finalists in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program!
Last fall, Robin and Theresa were announced as semifinalists, joining a group of 16,000 high school seniors nationwide. Semifinalists qualify based on their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, a distinction earned by only a fraction of the 50,000 students initially recognized. Now, as finalists, they are in the running for prestigious scholarships, with approximately 6,870 winners to be announced in March!

Howland High School students now have the chance to explore the legal system, sharpen critical thinking and compete in courtroom simulations!
Led by teachers Amanda Daquelente and Thom Williams, the high school's new mock trial team argued their first case involving artificial intelligence at the Trumbull County Courthouse earlier this month. Special thanks to Attorney Gary Rich and our supportive parents for making this possible!
This year's team comprised of 13 members! Interested students can join during Rush Week or contact Mrs. Daquelente or Mr. Williams.

Howland High School students from Mr. Borawiec’s CBI Class and Mrs. Lipkovich’s class joined forces with Petty Officer Christian Cogar of the U.S. Navy to make the holidays brighter for children in need.
Together, they shopped at the Eastwood Mall for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, selecting thoughtful gifts for local kids. For over 15 years, Mr. Borawiec's students have participated in this annual tradition. Students in the CBI work program went above and beyond this year, donating full day’s wages – and in some cases more – to purchase gifts for local children,
Special thanks to Mr. Borawiec, Mrs. Lipkovich and Petty Officer Cogar for making a differences. 👏 🎁✨
