
Mrs. Shipman's 11th grade U.S. Government class enjoyed a visit with Representative Nick Santucci of District 64 today. They participated in a question and answer session to better understand how the legislative process works in the state of Ohio. We are thankful for Representative Santucci's time!





The Howland High School Drone Team participated in the 2024 TCESC Drone Racing Championship event at Youngstown Regional Airport this past weekend! This weekend, our robotics team Tigerbotics wrapped up the 2024 FRC season at the Buckeye Regional in Cleveland!

Melanie Deluca from Trumbull County Children’s Services visited HHS today to pick up the blankets that FCCLA made for children in their care!

Congratulations goes out to Senior Katie Toepfer, who this past weekend was accepted as the only submission in Trumbull County to be accepted into the Top 300 pieces in the Governor's Youth Art Exhibition. Her piece entitled "Staring Contest" will now be professionally framed, delivered and will hang on display in Columbus until May!


Our hydroponic-grown lettuce made its way to our lunch tables this week! The freshly picked lettuce was served alongside pizza! With hydroponic systems now in place across multiple schools, we're expanding our growing efforts to include kale and Swiss chard!




Our FCCLA students have been busy making blankets for the Trumbull County Children’s Services!







We're thrilled to announce that Katie Toepfer has been accepted to the state level in Columbus for the 2024 Ohio Governor's Art Show! Katie's two pieces will now be judged to determine if she'll be among the top winners featured at the Department of Education or in the Governor's Building. The judging will take place this weekend. If selected, Katie will be invited to Columbus for the award ceremony in April!


Our child development students had the opportunity to listen to Melanie Deluca from Trumbull County Children’s Services. She discussed career paths and what Children’s Services does for the community!


Howland High School is hosting its annual Dodgeball Tournament today in the high school gymnasium. Sixteen teams are competing, and have raised $480 for the American Heart Association! #DodgeballTournament #CommunitySupport #FundraisingSuccess
