
Thank you all for your support of our PTO FALL FUNDRAISER. All proceeds help enhance our student school experiences. As a reminder, pick up for your items and prizes will be on Tuesday, November 7th, from 3:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Howland SPRINGS. Please make arrangements to retrieve your items, as there is no way for us to hold them at the end of pickup. Top Sellers, lunch with the principal recipients, and the winner of the single payment order will be contacted this week with final information on their prizes.

Yesterday we celebrated our October students of the month at Howland Glen. Each student was selected by their teacher and received pancakes with the principal! Congratulations, and keep up the great work!






Hello Glen Families,
We will have a 1-hour early release this Friday, 11/3. This marks the end of the first 9 week grading period. Car riders will be dismissed starting at 2:37 instead of 3:37 PM.

The Howland PTO presents Glen Primary School Trunk-or-Treat! Tonight at Howland Glen from 5:30 to 7:30. Inflatable games, music, treats, costume contest and lots of fun! All Howland Glen Families are invited!

Not So Spooky Halloween Party
When: Monday, October 30th, 5:30-7:00 pm
Where: Howland High School Cafeteria
What: Pumpkin painting, face painting, bingo,
coloring, and Halloween-themed games and activities!
Cost: Monetary donations to Student Senate or Canned goods to Paw Pantry.
Dress up! Fun for ages 1-12!
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you know of someone who is looking for a job, we are hiring substitutes! Applications can be picked up at the administration office weekdays between 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.!


Last night, the board of education approved a motion to amend the 2023-2024 school calendar to include three professional development days for staff. Please make note of the changes!

Good afternoon and Happy Memorial Day! I hope your long weekend has been great! Just a reminder that tomorrow is field day for Howland Glen students. Please dress your child for hot weather. Please apply sunscreen at home and be sure to send your child with a water bottle. There will be shade for some stations and some stations will be indoors, but otherwise the heat and sun will be strong. No flip flops or sandals. Also, field day is only open to parents that were selected to work a station. Thank you for all of your support this school year!

Howland Glen Primary students will be having a Field Day on Tuesday, May 30, 2023! This should be a very special day for our students and will be filled with many fun and memorable activities.

The Howland Local School District's Roaring Future Festival will take place this Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Howland High School. This festival will be a fantastic opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the proud past and exciting future of the Howland Local School District. The Roaring Future Festival will be an evening full of fun, games, and exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. Attendees can look forward to bounce houses, inflatable slides, student performances, games, prizes, food trucks, and the "Sweets and Eats" cake walk! We look forward to seeing you there!
