On Thursday, January 11th, we celebrated our December students of the month at Howland Glen. Each student was selected by their teacher and received pancakes with the principal! Congratulations, and keep up the great work!

Good morning,
A reminder that today is the end of the semester and therefore we will have a one-hour early release. Car rider dismissal will begin around 2:35. Buses will leave around 2:45. Have a great day! Mr. Roth

We're thrilled to share that 19 students from Howland Local Schools recently received a boost for their academic journey, courtesy of an initiative led by The Trumbull County Educational Service Center and its English Language Learner (ELL) Consortium.
The ELL Consortium, comprising 13 public school districts in Trumbull County, played a crucial role in providing backpacks, crayons, notebooks, and other essential school supplies to approximately 200 students in Trumbull County whose native language is not English.
This donation was made possible through the generous support of the United Way of Trumbull County and the English Language Learner Consortium. This initiative is part of the United Way's broader program, United "4 Kids," to foster student success in school and beyond.

As a reminder, our tardy bell rings at 9:20 AM. If you enter the car line at 9:20 or after, you must exit the car line and, drop your student off at the main office entrance, and sign them in using the iPad. Additionally, please utilize the entire space between both unloading signs to let your student(s) out of your vehicle. If you are waiting to let your student(s) out at the end of the line (closer to the door), you are holding up the car line and creating a dangerous situation where cars and students are in various stages of driving and walking. Please adhere to these protocols for the safety of our students.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Roth

Just a couple of our Howland Glen students earning a book of their choice from our book vending machine! Great job!!
