Our students had a blast during Exciting ELA Day as they teamed up to play Pop or Flop, a fast-paced trivia game that challenged their reading, grammar and language skills through teamwork and quick thinking! To make the day even sweeter, students enjoyed popcorn while learning, laughing and cheering each other on. A perfect mix of learning + fun = a great day to be a Howland Tiger!

Our 6th grade students enjoyed a special field trip to the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown to watch Miracle on Easy Street. After the show, students wrapped up the day with lunch at the Eastwood Mall food court. This memorable experience was made possible through funds raised by our annual Read-a-Thon, and we’re excited to do it all again this February! 🐯
