Members of the Howland Police Department took 10 of our students on a shopping trip during their annual Shop with a Cop event! Students stopped by Target and were treated to dinner at Salvatore's Pizza in the Eastwood Mall. We appreciate our school resource officers and school staff who helped make this a successful event!

Intermediate BUG (Bring Up Grade) Awards were given out today! Students that raised their most recent test score at least 10% points!


Our 6th Grade Band Concert was on Wednesday, December 13th! Congratulations to Mrs. Penney and the 6th grade band students on a great performance!

Salute to Social Studies Day was Wednesday, 11/09. Our Intermediate students focused on celebrating our Veterans!




The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Howland Jr. High and Howland Intermediate! Our book fair runs November 13 – November 17. Book fair packets that include the shopping schedule will be given to students on November 9. Please review the information in the packets so the students are prepared to shop. The side salad served by the cafeteria was grown in our cafeteria with a Hydroponic Grower - which produced Romaine and Green Leaf lettuce.
