Students at Howland Springs learn about eye safety and how to take care of their eyes. The Realeyes Classroom Initiative has been going strong now for over three years. The children really enjoyed the show and thought the presenter "should get a raise"!




Students at Howland Springs Primary enjoy Marvelous Math Day. Throughout the day, the children worked on educational yet fun math activities.




Students in Mrs. Baker's room celebrate Read Across America after reading the amazing book, Cat in the Hat.


Students at Howland Springs Primary use Lexia, a computer based program, to improve their ability to read and comprehend.

Good Morning, I came across 16 of these battery opetated smoke detectors. If you would like one, please send in a note or call the school. Please be sure to test it before installing!


Mrs. Parry, our school nurse, talks to kindergarten students about exercise and how it helps their heart. They even learned how to check their pulse.



Mr.Clark, principal at Howland Springs, had the pleasure of participating in the annual Men Who Cook event at Medici Museum of Art. The event helps the Boy Scouts of Troops 122 and 28.


Students at Howland Springs Primary enjoy "Exciting ELA Day". The children got to read in the dark with flashlights, blankets, and their favorite stuffed animals.



Kindergarten students in Mrs. Baker's class at Howland Springs Primary learn about American symbols such as the American flag.



Preschool children at Howland Springs Primary make snow from baking soda and shaving cream. Science is everywhere!
