Second Grade Families We look forward to seeing you this week for our second grade performances. When you arrive at the school, please drop your second graders off at the cafeteria and then proceed to the gym to find a seat. We suggest dressing comfortably and coolly. It will be very warm on the stage. Please wear appropriate gym class shoes as well. Please plan to arrive around ten minutes prior to the beginning of the performance. The starting time for each group is as follows: Wednesday: 3/22 5:30 pm – Mrs. Dotson and Mrs. Harrington 3/22 @ 7:00 pm – Mrs. Chasser and Mrs. Anderson Thursday: 3/23 @ 5:30 pm – Mrs. Yacovone and Mrs. Murray 3/23 @ 7:00 pm – Mrs. Tekac and Mrs. Bell

Glen Families, Reminder, our Philadelphia Candies fundraiser ends this weekend! All money is due on Monday, March 6th. Please make checks payable to Howland Glen Primary. This is the only Principal fundraiser we run for the entire school year, and all proceeds go back to the students. Howland Glen Primary is currently holding our annual Philadelphia Candy Fundraiser. All orders must be turned in no later than Monday, March 6th. The pickup date is Thursday, March 30th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Howland Glen. The profits from the sales will directly benefit our students at Howland Glen to help provide extra activities and classroom projects throughout the year. This is superior chocolate at the same price you would pay at their store, and every sale helps our students! Thank you for your support!

We are hiring substitute bus drivers! If you enjoy working with children, are dependable and motivated, we will train you to become a substitute bus driver! We offer in-house training, great working conditions and part-time hours. If you are interested, please call our transportation department at 330-856-8212 for more information!

This past Friday, we celebrated our November students of the month at Howland Glen. Each student was selected by their teacher and received pancakes with the principal! Congratulations and keep up the great work!

Congratulations and thank you to our students who were the top sellers for the PTO fundraiser here at Howland Glen! Students were rewarded with a Chic-fil-a lunch with Mr. Roth. Some of the students also won other prizes and got a chance to grab cash in the money machine! Way to go Tigers!

Howland PTO fundraiser pick-up is this Tuesday, Nov. 8th at Howland SPRINGS from 3:45-6:00 PM. They CAN NOT keep fundraiser items overnight, lots of items need to be frozen. Please pick up your order by 6:00 PM or have someone pick it up for you. Thank you for your support!
