Hello Glen Families,
When entering the car line for student pickup, please do not pass the double-yellow lines (just before the playground) until after 3:00 PM. Only proceed if all students and staff have exited the parking lot between the playground and the school building, even if it is after 3:00PM. This is a major safety concern for our students and staff that are outside for recess. Please do your part in helping keep our students and staff safe.
Thank you,
Mr. Roth

Good evening,
If your student missed their opportunity to shop at the book fair yesterday or today, there will be a makeup shopping opportunity tomorrow (Wednesday). Additionally, you can shop at the book fair with your student during parent-teacher conferences on Thursday night.
Thank you for supporting our book fair!
Have a restful evening,
Mr. Roth

Howland Glen Harvest Party 2024

Good evening,
This Friday, 10/25, we will have our Harvest Party during the last hour of our school day. Students' costumes should be easy to put on over their clothes. The Harvest Party is only open to Glen students and PTO parents/volunteers who have already been selected. We will have our annual Trunk or Treat event starting at 5:30 PM and going until 7:30 PM! All Glen families (including siblings) are invited to this spectacular, free event! Our amazing PTO makes both of these events possible! A big thank you to them for their time and effort in making these special events a reality!
Kind regards,
Mr. Roth

Tiger families,
Our Diamond fundraiser forms were due Wednesday, October 2nd. If you have not turned in your order forms, please do so ASAP. The online store will be open until Monday, October 7th, so there is still time to get in some last-minute orders. Thank you for all of your support this year!
Sincerely,
Howland PTO

Glen buses 1, 7, 5 have now left the school.

Glen buses 35, 13, 33, 25, 14, 17, 36, 8 are now leaving the school.

Good morning Howland Glen Families,
We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! Just a couple of quick reminders. If your student will be a car rider tomorrow, or anytime this year, please remember to send a note with your signature or call the Glen main office no later than 2:30 PM. We will start the car line drop off around 9:08 AM. Someone will motion to you when the time is appropriate. The tardy bell rings at 9:20 AM. We will release car riders around 3:35 PM. If you do not have your rear view mirror tag, you must park and bring your ID to the main office to pickup your student. Please stay in your car and don't leave a large gap between you and the car in front of you. This will help us unload and load students quickly and orderly. We are looking forward to a great 24-25 school year!
Kind Regards,
Mr. Roth

We are excited for the return of our two school resource officers for the 2024-2025 school year!

We're excited to share our new electronic annual report calendar with you! Starting this school year, the calendar will no longer be shared in hardcopy form. Instead, we will be sending out a minimum of three printed newsletters per school year to keep you updated on the latest events and happenings in our schools.
Click here to view the 24-25 calendar: https://5il.co/2t22i
You can download the calendar and print it from home at your convenience. The best part of moving to an electronic format is that we can update the calendar throughout the year, ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date for your quick access from the app or website.
We look forward to the start of a new school year!

Good Evening,
Due to the rain and cool weather forecasted for tomorrow, we have made arrangements to move all field day activities indoors. Please have your student wear socks and athletic shoes, as there will be an inflatable obstacle course and other activities requiring a lot of movement. Also, this is a reminder that Thursday, May 30th, is our last day of school, and students will be released one hour early. Car riders will be dismissed starting at 2:35 instead of 3:35. Thank you, and have a great evening!
Mr. Roth

Good evening, A paper about buying a lunch for field day went home with your student today. Please complete this form either way and return it tomorrow. This helps us get an accurate lunch count with less waste. Thank you, Mr. Roth
