Hello Glen Families, Chromebooks are being collected this Thursday and Friday. To avoid a $25 fee, please be sure to include the original charging cable. You can send the Chromebook back in your child’s bookbag or drop it off at Glen between 9:30 and 2:30. Our Field Day is tomorrow and there are NO parent volunteers this year. Orders for tomorrow’s lunch have already been collected; if you did not indicate that your child would like a hot dog sack lunch, please send your child with a packed lunch. Additionally, please apply sunscreen before school, provide a beach towel for our picnic-style lunch and a water bottle. We will have multiple filling stations available. Friday, May 28th is a FULL DAY - it is NOT an early release day

Good evening Glen families, Our lunch menu has been modified for this week. Monday is chicken patty sandwich and potato wedges. Tuesday is pizza. Thursday is a hot dog sack lunch (field day). Friday is grilled cheese and potato smiles. Thank you, Mr. Roth

Hello Glen Families, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of our drop-off and pick-up times and procedures. Drop off takes place starting at 8:50 and ends at 9:00 a.m. Unloading takes place in the unloading zone between the two designated signs. Please do not release your student to enter the building before 8:50. Pick-up starts at 3:15 and is usually over by 3:25 p.m. Please have your student enter your vehicle on the driver's side as there may be cars passing on the passenger side. Good Evening Glen Families, Spring picture day is tomorrow from 9:00 to Noon. Tiger Academy families can stop by anytime between those hours. We want to send a big thank you to our food service and transportation departments for preparing and delivering weekly meals to approximately 600 of our students while they are on remote learning. Between October and the end of the year, we will have prepared and delivered more than 67,000 meals!

Due to the surge in COVID-19 spread, the Howland Board of Education has decided to postpone tonight's in-person school board meeting. They have rescheduled and will host a virtual school board meeting on November 30, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.

Good evening Howland Families. We just received word of additional staff absences, and we need to transition our elementary buildings to full remote beginning tomorrow, Thursday, November 19, 2020, due to logistical issues securing substitute staff coverage in transportation, instruction and support services. We had hoped to get through the week with in-person learning for our younger children. However, it's no longer feasible at this juncture. This remote learning model will remain in place for elementary, middle and high school students with a projected return date of November 30th. We will continue to closely monitor our staff and student quarantine numbers and cases over the break before confirming a return date for in-person hybrid learning. We are currently assessing the status of our interscholastic activities programs and will follow up with our families as soon as we have had time to evaluate. Stay well and have a good evening. Howland Glen Parents: Picture Re-Take Day has been scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 1st for Hybrid students and Wednesday, Dec. 2nd for Tiger Academy students beginning at 9:00 a.m. Please check the Glen website for the re-take flyer.

Howland Schools and the Howland Police FOP invite you to a drive-thru spaghetti dinner that benefits the family of Jacob Leggett. It will take place at Howland Scope Center on Friday, November 13 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
